Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity

Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity, a Christian based organization, partners with low-income families to provide safe, decent, affordable homeownership. We are dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. We create a partnership with low-income families where the homeowners are involved in all aspects of the building of their home. Habitat does not charge interest on the mortgage, and in most cases the mortgages are for 30 years. Other services include Habitat ReStore locations and a Clean Out & Junk Removal service.
